The "Building a Network of Great Lakes Sanctuaries" Summary Report is LIVE!
Local leaders from communities across the Great Lakes region gathered in Alpena, Michigan, home to Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, on September 6th, 2014. The workshop—attended by 47 local leaders, NOAA officials, and political representatives—explored the benefits of a network of community-based national marine sanctuaries in the Great Lakes.
